The Lakers have already interviewed the other top point guard prospect in Marcus Smart, now the OC Register’s Bill Oram reports that the Lakers will be one of many to interview Exum tonight:

The Lakers know they have a big hole at point guard, even though they are likely to bring back Kendall Marshall for cheap, and Jordan Farmar wanting to return to the Lakers. Many believe Exum could turn out to be the best player in the draft.

There has also been a lot of rumors about Exum trying to force his way to the Lakers. However NBA.com’s Scott Howard-Cooper says that Exum has denied that:

If the Lakers pick at six or later, it is unlikely that Exum will be available for them to select as he is expected to go in the top three. But if the ping-pong balls go their way next week, Exum will definitely be one of the biggest targets for the Lakers due to his tremendous upside.
