With the seventh pick in the NBA Draft, the Los Angeles Lakers will have a number of options on who to select when their time arises. The team was already set to workout Indiana forward Noah Vonleh and Oklahoma State point guard Marcus Smart on June 4, but now it looks as if the Lakers will be bringing in even more players on that day.

Teams like to see players work out against each other, and according to ESPN’s Jeff Goodman, the Lakers are looking to bring in a number of lottery prospects on June 4:

If the Lakers are able to bring in all six of those players it will undoubtedly be one of the more star-powered workouts of this draft process.

All of those prospects are expected to be lottery selections with the possible exception of UCLA’s Zach LaVine, and he is rising up draft boards rapidly. Last week, he and Gordon impressed in a workout and both spoke about the possibility of becoming a Laker.

Vonleh has been linked to the Lakers since the lottery took place as the team is supposedly very interested in him, while Smart would fit in as the point guard of the future.

Nik Stauskas is a combo guard who is an excellent shooter and led Michigan to the Elite 8 this past season. Doug McDermott is one of the best scorers in college basketball history, but may struggle to find a position at the next level.
