Lakers Vs. Knicks: Chris Kaman On Returning To The Lineup (VIDEOS)

The Los Angeles Lakers not only finished victorious against the New York Knicks, they came out with a new Lakers franchise record in the process, scoring 51 points in the third quarter. Those 51 points also happened to be the most the Knicks have ever given up in a quarter in franchise history. Mike D’Antoni didn’t seem too moved by the new record, but he was impressed with Xavier Henry’s tremendous play despite a torn ligament in his wrist. He also had high marks for the rookie Ryan Kelly, who played more than any other member in the purple and gold.

Nick Young says tonight was a night that he wanted to prove the haters wrong and Henry, who says he loves playing in the current system, is far from quitting. Chris Kaman played for the first time in several games. He admitted he started out rusty in the first half and was definitely winded.
