[new_royalslider id=”169″]

After experiencing another tough loss against the Houston Rockets, the Lakers stand with a record of 25-53. With only four games remaining, the Lakers are looking to finish the season strong, beginning tonight against their Pacific Division rival, the Golden State Warriors.

The last time the two teams faced off against each other, David Lee had a game-high 19 points and 10 rebounds to secure a 102-83 victory back in December. With a 2-1 season series favoring the Warriors, the Lakers are looking to avoid a series defeat, which has not occurred since the 1994-95 season.

Tonight’s game will also mark the return of former Laker, and fan favorite, Steve Blake, who was traded to the Warriors last February for Kent Bazemore and Marshon Brooks.

As the Lakers play their 79th game of the season tonight, the team will once again be without Pau Gasol and Steve Nash due to their lingering injuries.
