Despite a difficult season both individually and for the team, Farmar remains positive and understands that there will be good and bad times even with the Lakers according to Lakers Nation reporter Serena Winters:

Farmar has not been shy about his desires to remain a Laker past this season. He is from the area and wants to be a part of bringing the team back to its former glory.

Despite there being a lot of questions about the leadership of the Lakers at this time, Farmar remains confident that the Lakers will be fine in the long run:

Farmar will forever be a part of Lakers history both good and bad. He was on two championship teams, and is a part of the team with the most losses in franchise history. But if he has anything to say about it, he plans on being a part of the Lakers rise back to the top.
