Kobe Bryant only appeared in six games this past season, but that didn’t keep him from staying in the spotlight. From his new Kobe IX shoes to his endorsement of the sports drink BodyArmor, Bryant found a way to stay center stage in the eyes of the media.

As fans, we are all in awe of Bryant’s amazing basketball skill. From his acrobatic fade-aways to his jaw-breaking dunks, the five-time champion never lets us down. Bryant’s work ethic has been praised throughout his career, but as spectators, we have never been able to truly see it first hand.

That is all set to change this upcoming fall. According to ESPN writer Ramona Shelburne, Bryant will have a documentary air on Showtime in the coming months:

Apparently, Bryant has allowed Showtime access to his daily life, practices, and business meetings, via Shelburne:

Bryant has always been personal with the fans, especially over social media but has never opened himself quite like this. The film is named MUSE and documents Bryant’s struggles of cementing his legacy as his career in the NBA dwindles down.

With his career ending shortly, Kobe has put a large emphasis on setting himself up to do well in retirement. He recently founded the company Kobe Inc. and made his first investment recently in BodyArmor. Kobe knows his time is running short and is looking for ways to make sure his name is remembered forever.

Kobe joins his teammate, Steve Nash, in documenting the last few years of his time in the league. The film is set to air sometime this upcoming Fall and fans should be excited to see a whole new side of Kobe Bryant.
