On Tuesday, Magic responded to Sterling’s comments about him in an interview with Cooper. Magic clearly wasn’t happy about the comments from Sterling and said the following according to Ramona Shelburne of ESPN:

Cooper’s interview will air on CNN’s Anderson Cooper 360 tonight at 5 p.m. PST. Magic will address Sterling’s comments in the interview and may be asked about his interest in potentially owning the Clippers if the team is ultimately put up for sale.

Although the players of the franchise and head coach Doc Rivers have expressed concern over Sterlings, Donald and Shelly, continuing to own the team, this situation may take some time to come to an end. Both of the Sterlings refuse to sell the team and may have a case once it is officially forced into a legal matter.

There’s no telling what the future holds for the franchise. Drastic changes and more developments will occur in the off-season either further complicating the situation or making the transition easier moving forward.
