With Love seemingly intent on leaving Minnesota in the summer of 2015, the Timberwolves would be wise to explore trade options. Although a trade seems inevitable at this point, Timberwolves owner Glen Taylor has no intention of trading the superstar, according to Charley Walters of Pioneer Press:

Minnesota Timberwolves owner Glen Taylor told the Pioneer Press on Monday that he has no intention of trading Kevin Love and that he expects the all-star power forward to play for the Wolves again next season.

Following the results of the NBA draft lottery on Tuesday, the trade rumors involving Love will likely ramp up. The Los Angeles Lakers are arguably the most interested in Love’s services due to the star forward’s desire to return to Los Angeles.

Although Love has been linked to the Lakers, plenty of other teams have emerged as potential trade partners for the Timberwolves. Almost every team rumored to be interested in acquiring Love have more trade assets and have a better chance of competing for a title immediately with the star forward in the fold.

The Golden State Warriors, Chicago Bulls, Phoenix Suns and the Houston Rockets are all expected to make a run at Love. The New York Knicks and Boston Celtics are also rumored to be interested, but would struggle to put a trade package together along with the Lakers.
