One player that has been mentioned as an option for the Los Angeles Lakers heading into the 2014 NBA draft is Noah Vonleh out of Indiana. Vonleh may not be an elite draft prospect like Andrew Wiggins, Jabari Parker, Joel Embiid and Dante Exum, but he has peaked the interest of the storied franchise.

Vonleh was one of many draft prospects that worked out for the Lakers on Wednesday and said the following about potentially being drafted by Los Angeles on June 26, according to Lakers Nation reporter Serena Winters:
Noah Vonleh: "The Lakers were one of my favorite teams growing up. When I think of the Lakers I think of a championship program."

Vonleh is considered to be a lottery pick and will likely be drafted in the top 10. The Lakers currently have the seventh pick in the draft with Vonleh potentially being an option for the team come draft day.
It will be a challenge for the former Hoosier to standout among the other talented prospects working out with the team on Wednesday, but his main goal was to show his versatility via Winters:
Noah Vonleh said the biggest thing he wanted to show today was his versatility – he thinks he showed that.

At this point in time, it remains unclear what the Lakers’ intentions are heading into the draft. GM Mitch Kupchak and company are open to the idea trading the pick for multiple picks later in the draft, but selecting Vonleh is an option for the team.
