Lakers Introduce Jeremy Lin, Press Conference (VIDEOS)

The Los Angeles Lakers welcomed Jeremy Lin at the Lakers practice facility on Thursday morning. Lakers GM Mitch Kupchak introduced him after surprising the media with stories about attempting to land Lin twice over the years, before finally acquiring him via the Houston Rockets trade this summer.

After 25 minutes of answering questions with the media, Lin covered a variety of topics. From his vast fan base throughout Asia to his experiences in both New York and Houston and how he felt about James Harden’s recent comments regarding role players. Lin also talked in length about Steve Nash and Kobe Bryant and was adamant on not trying to recreate the “Linsanity” phenomenon.
