As part of the Nike RISE Campaign, Kobe Bryant took questions from fans on his Weibo account. Most of the questions (translations via KobeTeam.com) centered around how young players could better their own game, whether that was shooting a better jumper, dealing with nerves, or not being the most physically talented player on the court.
Bryant gives the key to being a successful player, most importantly mastering deception on the court. Those shots of his that appear off-balance are actually quite the opposite.
Plus, Bryant when asked about getting his bounce back after his Achilles injury, gives quite a realistic answer, explaining how “accepting” that he may not get his bounce back, has actually made him stronger in other areas.
