ESPN Forecast Panel Predicts Lakers Face Most Team Turmoil
[new_royalslider id=”312″]

After what was the worst season in franchise history, the Los Angeles Lakers have been predicted by the ESPN Forecast panel to be the team with the most turmoil. The Lakers had 29 more points than the second team, the Houston Rockets:

This offseason was a productive one despite some of the setbacks. The Lakers’ front office was hopeful to land a superstar, but that didn’t pan out as planned. They also took practically the entire summer to appoint a head coach. Although Kobe Bryant is coming back and a deem worthy coach has been appointed, the Lakers could be in trouble in terms of team chemistry.

This is a team with only five players who have been re-signed. The other half of the team include Randle and Clarkson who were drafted along with Ed Davis, Jeremy Lin and Carlos Boozer. While it’ll be tough for this group of players to get along and develop chemistry, they also have to get used to playing alongside Kobe Bryant and Steve Nash who are both coming back from an injury-riddled season.

The coaching drama of Mike D’Antoni might be gone, but while every player on the roster must get used to playing with one another, they’re all going to have to get used to playing under an entirely new coaching system under the leadership of Byron Scott.

Even with a new coach who bleeds purple and gold and a team who will surely look to make a deep run and adjust to each other, this season looks like it’ll be necessary to set a foundation for the following seasons.
