During the last two preseason games, Jeremy Lin seemed to be coming into his own and finally finding his role on the Los Angeles Lakers. Although Lin was developing into one of the best offensive players on the squad, the Lakers newcomer has struggled in the first two regular season games.

On Wednesday night, the Lakers lost their second consecutive game to start the season falling to the Phoenix Suns on the road. Lin spoke to the media after the game and talked about what he’s concentrating on moving forward, via Lakers Nation reporter Serena Winters:

In the loss to the Phoenix Suns, Lin finished with only six points, two rebounds and an assist. An uninspired performance to say the least from the new Lakers starting point guard, but the veteran guard seems intent to turn things around.

After two consecutive losses against potential playoff teams in the Western Conference, the Lakers will have one day without a game before heading back to the Staples Center. Lin will have another tough test ahead of him facing off against Chris Paul on Friday night at home.

Immediately after facing the Los Angeles Clippers, the Lakers will hit the road to take on the Golden State Warriors in the second game of another back-to-back on Saturday. Stephen Curry will also pose a challenge for Lin as the Lakers try to contain the high-powered offense of the Warriors on the road.
