After an unsuccessful three-game road trip, the Los Angeles Lakers returned to Staples Center to host the New Orleans Pelicans. With a 5-15 start, head coach Byron Scott decided to make changes to the starting lineup by inserting Ed Davis and Ronnie Price in place of Carlos Boozer and Jeremy Lin.
