Back on Oct. 28, the Los Angeles Lakers got the 2014-15 NBA season underway against Dwight Howard’s Houston Rockets. Unfortunately, along with suffering the first loss of the season at home, the Lakers lost rookie Julius Randle to a leg injury.

Randle was ruled out of the season with a fractured leg ending his first year with the Lakers prematurely. Fortunately, Randle was recently seen at a Kentucky Wildcats game walking without crutches, via Scott Anderson of NationOfBlue.com:

Even though Randle clearly no longer needs crutches to walk, the rookie making it back this season isn’t going to happen. The next time we see Randle on the floor for the Lakers will likely be during the NBA Summer League in Las Vegas next summer.
