Pre-Game Report: Lakers @ Warriors

Derek Fisher – Stephen Curry

Kobe Bryant – Monta Ellis

Ron Artest – Dorell Wright

Pau Gasol – David Lee

Andrew Bynum – Andris Biedrins

The Lakers manhandled the Cavaliers last night, blowing them out by 55 points. The win was the Laker’s third largest margin of victory in franchise history. The Lakers held the Cavs to only 29% shooting from the field, who shockingly only hit 1 out of 14 three pointers.

As for the Warriors, they have been a disappointment this season. With the acquisition of David Lee over the summer, the Warriors were looking for additional offense. Unfortunately, Lee has been averaging a career low in shooting.

Stephen Curry has taken a backseat this season to Monta Ellis, who has taken the spotlight with all the offensive weight on his shoulders.

The key for the Lakers winning on a back-to-back road game is to try to have the performance last night against the Cavaliers blend through tonight’s game against the Warriors.

Like many Lakers, Shannon Brown had an impressive game against Cleveland. He put up 13 points including a half-court buzzer beating heave. Brown should look to overpower and outplay Curry and Ellis.

Kobe, Pau, Bynum, Artest, and Odom all scored in double-figures last night as well. If even three of those four Lakers hits double digit points tonight, they should have an easy win.
