The possibility of a trade between the Oklahoma City Thunder and Brooklyn Nets for center Brook Lopez has been looming over the NBA as the trade deadline nears. The ball is reportedly in the hands of the Thunder to agree to the deal, but they have yet to commit.

According to Adrian Wojnarowski of Yahoo! Sports, that is because the Thunder have had discussions with the Utah Jazz about acquiring disgruntled center Enes Kanter:
Sources: OKC hasn't committed to Lopez deal, and there's still another center that they've had talks about acquiring: Utah's Enes Kanter.

Even with those discussions, it is still more likely that the Thunder complete the deal with the Nets via Wojnarowski:
Nevertheless, there's still strong belief that OKC will complete the deal with Nets. Decision looming soon.

The Thunder have an interesting decision on their hands. The deal for Lopez would definitely involve point guard Reggie Jackson, but Lopez has a player option for next season and it is unclear whether or not he will exercise that option.
Kanter would come much cheaper than Lopez, but it is unclear who the Thunder would move in that trade were it to happen. The Jazz already have two young point guards in Trey Burke and Dante Exum so Jackson would likely not be a part of that deal.
