As the Los Angeles Lakers prepare to head down the stretch of the season, head coach Byron Scott has continued to tinker with the Lakers starting lineup and rotations in an effort to get a good look at every player on the roster.

Scott has said that he will likely make another change to the starters at some point, and according to Bill Oram of the OC Register, one change will likely be re-inserting point guard Jeremy Lin with the starters:

Lin has at times been one of the Lakers best players, but inconsistency has plagued him this year. He had his best game of the season against the Boston Celtics on Sunday, scoring 25 points to go along with six assists. However, he followed it up with a 3-12 shooting night against the Utah Jazz, ending with only eight points.

It will be interesting to see what Scott eventually ends up deciding to do. Rookie Jordan Clarkson has been playing extremely well since becoming a starter, averaging about 14 points, four assists, and three rebounds. His size, at 6’5, could allow him to guard bigger wings and make it easier for Lin to slide into the starting lineup.

Wayne Ellington has also been extremely consistent, so Scott will have an interesting decision to make if he is truly considering putting Lin back with the starters.
