The NBA off-season is officially underway for the Los Angeles Lakers after the worst season in franchise history. Although many of the players, coaches, and members of the front office needed some much time off, Jordan Clarkson is already getting back to work.

Clarkson recently took to Instagram to show he’s already back at the Lakers practice facility putting in work in order to prepare for the NBA Summer League in July:

The Lakers seem to have struck gold with Clarkson wearing purple and gold for the foreseeable future. Clarkson made the most of his rookie season after being named the starter by head coach Byron Scott and has made enough of an impression that most believe he’ll be around long-term.

Clarkson already getting back to work without much time away from basketball is just another sign the Lakers picked the right prospect after purchasing the 46th overall pick from the Washington Wizards in last year’s NBA Draft.

Hopefully, the Lakers will be able to take more strides in the right direction this summer. Los Angeles will likely have a top-five draft pick on June 25 along with late first-round pick (27th) and an early second-round pick.
