Jordan Clarkson On Julius Randle: ‘He’s A Monster With The Ball’

With the first NBA Summer League practice in the books, no player has received more high praise than Julius Randle. Although the former Kentucky star missed the majority of his first season in the NBA, the Los Angeles Lakers have high hopes for the 20-year-old and it appears a lot of people within the organization are getting excited about what they’re seeing.

Following the first practice in El Segundo, Jordan Clarkson talked about Randle saying the following about his teammate, via Lakers Nation reporter Serena Winters:

A lot has been made of the Lakers’ shortcomings in NBA free agency this summer, at least until the most recent moves were made, but the team’s young core has the potential to be great.

There’s no telling what the future will hold for the storied franchise with these young players leading the way, but Los Angeles may surprise some people during the Summer League later this week.

Bringing in D’Angelo Russell, Clarkson and Randle is a solid start to the rebuilding process. A glimpse of the future will be seen over the next two weeks with these three young players possibly providing some optimism for the team moving forward while putting on a show in the Summer League.
