VIDEOS: Russell, Randle, Clarkson After First Summer League Game

Collage_SLATEThe Los Angeles Lakers fell 81-68 to the Minnesota Timberwolves in their first NBA Summer League game on Friday night. Jordan Clarkson led the Lakers with 23 points in his 32 minutes, while Julius Randle had 11 points and Tarik Black finished with 10 rebounds.

In the much-anticpated No. 1 vs. No. 2 draft pick matchup, Karl-Anthony Towns finished with 12 points, four assists, three turnovers and three rebounds while D’Angelo Russell finished with eight points, six assists, five turnovers, three steals and five rebounds.

In the post-game videos below, summer league head coach Mark Madsen discusses Russell and Clarkson together in the back court and where they need to improve. Randle says in regards to conditioning, he felt great during the game, though he felt rusty in other aspects. Russell talks about what it was like to hear the Lakers fans in the crowd for the first time.
