On Aug. 3, Taylor Swift set a record for most sold out shows at the Staples Center (16) when her 1989 World Tour came to Los Angeles.

With thousands of fans cheering her latest accomplishment, Los Angeles Lakers superstar Kobe Bryant made a surprise appearance. The five-time champion presented the 25-year-old singer with a banner of her own that will now hang at Staples Center.
