Naming all of the accomplishments of Los Angeles Lakers legend Kobe Bryant at this point is unnecessary as just about everyone acknowledges him as one of the best players in NBA history.
That being said, his standing amongst the all-time greats will surely come up more often now that his career is coming to a close soon.
Center Roy Hibbert is getting to experience Kobe up close for the first time this season, and when asked what has surprised him about Kobe, he complimented the legend before calling him the greatest of all time via Lakers Nation reporter Serena Winters:
Roy Hibbert simply summing up Kobe Bryant: "He can hit some real tough shots. His post game is nice, his perimeter is nice. He's a GOAT." ?

The argument for the greatest NBA player ever is a completely subjective and never-ending one. Kobe will surely be in the discussion, but arguments will also be made for players like Magic Johnson, Kareem Abdul-Jabbar, Larry Bird, and of course, Michael Jordan.
Whether or not someone feels Kobe is actually the greatest ever is beside the point. The fact that he is in the discussion is proof to how great Kobe has been throughout his career. With this possibly being his final season, it could be the last chance for fans to witness a true legend.
The Lakers obviously want to send Kobe out the best way possible, and making the playoffs would be a great way to do so. Hibbert has impressed so far in the preseason as has Kobe. If those two vets, as well as the continually improving young trio of Jordan Clarkson, Julius Randle, and D’Angelo Russell can carry their performance over to the regular season, fans just may be able to witness one more amazing moment from Kobe.
