Metta World Peace, Lakers Lend Support For Lamar Odom (VIDEO)

Former Los Angeles Laker, two-time NBA champion and Sixth Man of the Year, Lamar Odom has been in critical condition since being rushed to Sunrise Hospital and Medical Center on Tuesday night. Though ESPN reports that Odom has made “small progress” in the past 24 hours, as of Thursday afternoon he is still in a a coma and on life support.

Lakers general manager Mitch Kupchak and Kobe Bryant left the MGM Grand Garden Arena after their game on Tuesday night to check on Odom. Though both were back at the Lakers practice facility on Thursday, neither were available to speak to the media.

The video below is the latest from the Lakers practice facility on Odom’s current condition and the support of the Lakers organization. Metta World Peace has known Odom since he was 11 years old, growing up in South Jamaica, Queens, New York. Nick Young, who lived in the same complex as Odom, and head coach Byron Scott also lend words of support:
