Lakers News: L.A. Unveils Christmas Day Jerseys (PHOTOS)

The 2015-16 NBA season is officially underway as all eyes are on Kobe Bryant and the team’s young core. While the Los Angeles Lakers suffered a tough season opener loss to the Minnesota Timberwolves, they will travel to face DeMarcus Cousins and the Sacramento Kings tonight.

One of the most anticipated games this season will come on Christmas Day as the Lakers host the Clippers. While the game is nearly two months away, numerous teams unveiled their Christmas Day uniforms today via the official Twitter account:

Over the last couple of seasons, fans have been critical of the Christmas Day jerseys. Unlike years past that ranged from first names on the back to sleeves, this year’s jersey is very clean with the purple lettering to go along with the white uniform.
