Time Warner Cable SportsNet To Air 20 Unforgettable Kobe Bryant Games

With the 2015-16 NBA season in progress, Kobe Bryant is currently in his 20th season with the Los Angeles Lakers. While the five-time champion is still finding his way on the court, he recently set the NBA record for most seasons played with one franchise in the team’s season opener.

As the exclusive local TV home of the Lakers, Time Warner Cable SportsNet announced today it will feature 20 of Kobe’s most unforgettable on-the-court performances through a special collection of classic “Timeless Lakers” games. This series begins tonight at 8:00 PM PST with Kobe making clutch shots in overtime against the Indiana Pacers in the 2000 NBA Finals.

El Segundo, CA (November 10, 2015)Time Warner Cable SportNet today announced it will bring fans a very special collection of classic “Timeless Lakers” games featuring twenty of Kobe Bryant’s most unforgettable on-the-court performances.  This series of storied games, many of which have not been seen since they were first telecast, will span Bryant’s entire NBA career with the Los Angeles Lakers and will include his 1997 match-up with Michael Jordan and the Chicago Bulls as well as his 61-point game at Madison Square Garden in 2009.

The first game in this special “Timeless Lakers” collection will air tonight, November 10th at 8:00 p.m. PT., and will feature the three memorable clutch-shots Bryant made in overtime that led the Lakers to victory over the Indiana Pacers at the 2000 NBA Finals.  That year, Bryant’s performance helped take the Lakers one step forward in the series and ultimately brought them their first championship title in twelve years.
