Time Warner Cable Sportsnet Goes One-on-one With Kobe Bryant (video)

Heading into the 2015-16 NBA season, there were questions surrounding how much Kobe Bryant had left in the tank and if this would be his final season. With his 20th season underway, Bryant has appeared in eight of the 11 games for the Los Angeles Lakers.

While dealing with Father Time, Bryant is averaging 16.9 points, 4.1 rebounds and 3.5 assists in 30.4 minutes.

Time Warner Cable SportsNet will bring Lakers fans an exclusive, “One-On-One” interview with Kobe Bryant this Friday, November 20th at 6:00 PM PST. An encore presentation of the interview will be air at 11:00 PM PST. Here is a preview of the interview with James Worthy:

While Bryant has not met his standards so far this season, he is enjoying the process of preparing for each game while mentoring the young core of D’Angelo Russell, Julius Randle and Jordan Clarkson. At this stage of his career, there is an understanding Bryant will not win another championship and he has shifted his focus to helping his teammates.

Although Bryant will not make a decision regarding retirement until the end of the season, he did set a new NBA record for most seasons played with one franchise in the season opener against the Minnesota Timberwolves, surpassing John Stockton of the Utah Jazz.
