The Los Angeles Lakers extended their winning streak to three games on Sunday night, beating the Phoenix Suns 97-77 at Staples Center. The Lakers held the Suns to just 22 points in the first half, and their 38-point lead was their largest lead of the season.

Everything seemed to go right for the Lakers through the first three quarters of action. Larry Nance, Jr. tied another career-high with 14 rebounds and Lou Williams had a season-high 30 points, including six three-pointers on just seven attempts.

Heading into the fourth quarter, the Lakers looked lackadaisical defensively, and a frustrated Julius Randle (two points, 12 rebounds, 16 minutes) was sent to the bench. After the game, head coach Byron Scott discusses what he told Randle. Plus, Lou Williams, Jordan Clarkson and Nick Young are in good spirits following a three-game winning streak.
