After following up an impressive rookie campaign with yet another solid year, Los Angeles Lakers guard Jordan Clarkson is working to fine-tune his already impressive skill set. Clarkson saw steady improvement statistically this year averaging 15.5 points, 4.0 rebounds, and 2.4 assists per game.

As he prepares for his third year in the NBA, Clarkson has begun to narrow his focus on a few areas that are sure to take his game to the next level. One of them is to improve his three-point shot, as Clarkson was recently recorded working on his deep ball with Drew Hanlen from Pure Sweat and Elite Guard Training.

After some shooting alignment exercises, Clarkson got right to work putting on an impressive shooting display.

In a league that has developed around players who can shoot the three ball, being able to shoot from beyond the arc has almost become a necessity for today’s guards. Clarkson came into the league as a solid mid-range shooter but was able to show some improvement with his deep ball last season by bumping up his three-point percentage from 31 to 35 percent.

The Lakers took Clarkson with the 46th pick back in 2014 and has essentially been a huge steal for the Lakers. Now he enters free agency and is likely going to have plenty of suitors. However, Clarkson has expressed his desire to remain with the purple and gold and firmly believes he will return to L.A.
