While NBA 2K17 will be released on Sept. 20, official teasers and previews are out and about, giving the fans a taste of the game they are craving. For Los Angeles Lakers fans, the opportunity to obtain the NBA 2K17 Legend Edition, featuring none other than Kobe Bryant, seems like a dream come true.

Alongside Michael B. Jordan, the pair gave a preview of the “My Player” mode, which allows gamers to create their own player and rise through the ranks of the National Basketball Association. Gamers also get the opportunity to get drafted and prove their worth during an official NBA career.

With Bryant chosen to be on the cover, it would mark the third occasion a Laker has been featured on the cover. Bryant also graced the 2K10 cover, while Magic Johnson was an available option on the 2K12 edition.

The pair got creative with their dialogue, as Jordan previews a quick set of highlights during the career of Bryant. Jordan does get a little humorous in the video, teasing the ups and downs of Bryant’s career, including his noted airballs early in his career against the Utah Jazz.

The pair has created quite the banter, as Jordan was able to jokingly tick off Bryant in an Apple commercial recently.

Jordan also released some extra clips from the commercial, giving fans some comical shots he took at Bryant.

Towards the end of the commercial, Bryant was asked what he would miss most from the game and gave a candid answer. Bryant compared the thrill of playing to that of being a boxer, with the mental aspect taking precedence over any physical battles.
