The Los Angeles Lakers were hoping to end their current road trip on a high note on Friday night against Giannis Antetokounmpo’s Milwaukee Bucks after an ugly loss to the Detroit Pistons.
Fortunately for the Lakers, Luke Walton’s squad was able to come together and play exceptionally well in the first half scoring 76 points. Although Antetokounmpo and company were able to close the gap in the second half and cut the deficit to single digits in the fourth quarter, after being down as much as 27 points, the Lakers prevailed and indeed finished an otherwise forgettable road trip in the best way possible with a win.
During the team’s 19th win of the season, the Lakers got some impressive performances out of Nick Young, Tarik Black, Julius Randle, Lou Williams, Jordan Clarkson, and Ivica Zubac who all made the highlight reel, via Lakers official Twitter account:
