It was a picture perfect night for what could have been Metta World Peace’s final game at Staples Center. His season-high 18 points were only a small part of the action, as the crowd erupted every time Metta touched the ball. Head coach Luke Walton even said he got goosebumps hearing the crowd chant his name after subbing Metta out in the fourth quarter.

Walton said he hoped his young team would take away the joy that Metta plays with and take advantage of the short amount of time they have as professional basketball players. Metta talks after the game about what it meant to feel the energy in the home crowd and why this particular season has meant so much to him.

Rookie forward Brandon Ingram also has a monster dunk over fellow rookie Cheick Diallo, which he said might have been the most emotional he’s gotten on the court all season. Find out why. It’s all in our videos below.
