Los Angeles Lakers forward Pau Gasol has been listed as day-to-day after an MRI revealed a bone bruise in his right knee. In the third quarter of Sunday’s game versus the Denver Nuggets, Gasol took a hard foul and his knee got stuck underneath his body.
In addition to Gasol’s injury, Lakers’ big-man Andrew Bynum is also suffering from right knee pain. Bynum hurt his knee in the fourth quarter when Lamar Odom fell into his leg; but Bynum assured reporters that he is fine and expects to play against the Utah Jazz.
