Superstar forward Paul George of the Indiana Pacers has been at the center of a lot of speculation over the last few months in the NBA. George, who has one year left on his deal with the Pacers, isn’t particularly happy about his situation in Indiana and is rumored to be leaning towards leaving his current team to join the Los Angeles Lakers in 2018.

Although the Lakers rumors have dominated the headlines over the last few months, another scenario has become a possibility. George joining forces with LeBron James seems to be a possibility, especially after the Cleveland Cavaliers lost to the Golden State Warriors convincingly in the NBA Finals.

Despite the added speculation of potentially joining forces with LeBron in Cleveland, George made it clear he won’t be talking to the three-time NBA champion over the summer, according to Nate Taylor of IndyStar.com:

The Cavaliers may look to retool their roster during the NBA offseason as they’re trailing behind the star-studded Warriors and desperately trying to catch up. Trade speculation surrounding Kevin Love has become a hot topic of discussion once again with talk of Cleveland needing to take advantage of George’s uncertain future in Indiana by dangling Love in a trade package.

Even though there’s no telling what the future holds for George and the Pacers, the perennial All-Star admits he is an admirer of LeBron but doesn’t communicate with him nor do they tell each where they may be going, via Taylor:

With the NBA offseason now officially underway, the trade rumors and speculation surrounding George’s future will kick into high gear. George being linked to the Lakers was enough to think rumors of a trade would be endless, but now that the Cavaliers may potentially pursue him as well, talk about George’s immediate future could be the main storyline of the offseason in the NBA.
