Top 5 Laker Players Who Have Won NCAA and NBA Titles

It’s April and March Madness is over. The UConn Huskies are sitting atop the college basketball world and have cemented themselves in NCAA history. Winning an NCAA title alone is an amazing accomplishment, but even more impressive is also winning an NBA championship as well. The Los Angeles Lakers have several individuals that have accomplished that feat, and it is time to recognize these individuals by ranking the top five.

5. Glen Rice

One of the best shooters to ever play the game, Glen Rice was a member of the Lakers 1999-2000 championship team. He was the third leading scorer behind Kobe Bryant and Shaquille O’Neal and an integral part of the Lakers run to the title. Rice, who attended the University of Michigan for four years, won an NCAA championship in 1989 and was also named Most Outstanding Player of the tournament after setting the record for most points in the NCAA tournament.
