Lakers Take In ‘Hamilton’ On Eve Of Facing Nets
Ty Nowell-Los Angeles Lakers

The Los Angeles Lakers are nearing the end of their season-long five-game road trip, with only Friday’s contest against the Brooklyn Nets and a matchup with the Oklahoma City Thunder on Super Bowl Sunday remaining.

After beginning their journey with a victory over the Chicago Bulls, which extended the Lakers’ winning streak to a season-high tying four games, they’ve suffered consecutive losses. The trip included two off days between games with the Toronto Raptors and Orlando Magic, and another Thursday night.

To take advantage of being in New York, the team attended a showing of the hit musical “Hamilton” at the Richard Rodgers Theatre on Broadway. They were joined by Lakers general manager Rob Pelinka and the coaching staff.

The night included meeting with the “Hamilton” cast and crew, which the Lakers documented and shared on Twitter:

What did not come from the team activity were any cases of Lonzo Ball, Brandon Ingram and Kyle Kuzma taking to social media to critiquing and poke fun at one another’s wardrobe. It otherwise has become habit for the young trio.

They went to the movies while the team was in Oklahoma City, and it resulted in Ball and Kuzma mocking Ingram’s slim stature, and Ball mocking Kuzma for his penchant to wear Nike sweatsuits.
