After some Twitter shenanigans it appears Ron Artest will indeed be participating in the newest season of ‘Dancing With the Stars.’

Earlier, Artest posted to his Twitter account that he would not be a contestant on ABC’s popular show this season, but it appears as if the newly named Metta World Peace was just trying to create some buzz.
According to ABC’s official ‘Dancing With the Stars’ website Artest will indeed be a contestant on the newest season of the popular reality show.
Artest follows in the footsteps of many other famous athletes to join the show. Athletes such as Jerry Rice, Warren Sapp, Kurt Warner and many others have participated in the past.
