Mike Brown Still Learning Rules of the Lakers Fashion Trade

Mike Brown hasn’t been the Lakers coach for very long, so it’s not a surprise that he’s still learning the ropes in Southern California. Brown, who took over for Phil Jackson last summer, is still trying to get his players to follow his direction on the court and in practice.

However, there is one other area where Brown is still learning. Fashion.

While this certainly isn’t a fashion article and I am far from an expert in the area, Brown did commit a bit of a fashion faux pas earlier this week.

During an interview with Mark Medina of the L.A. Times Brown admitted to a wardrobe mistake he made.

“I have a green sweater vest, but I can’t wear the green sweater vest even though it says Lakers. We have a history with Boston.”

I guess it’s safe to say that coach Brown still has some things to learn. I’m sure he would agree. Still, Brown has had a positive impact on the team so far this season, and despite a minor lapse in his fashion sense, he seems to be winning over most of Los Angeles.
