Lakers News: Metta World Peace is Friends with Roaches

Metta World Peace is known for being a little…different. In a recent interview with the L.A. Times he once again showed why. When asked about the upcoming road trip World Peace changed the subject. To roaches. You know, as in cockroaches.

“I grew up around roaches,” World Peace said. “And it was bad. Too many of them. To many friends, yeah, in New York. I got a lot of roach friends. I’d wake up, they’d wake up in my cereal. They’d wake up like, you know, just Ron what’s up, good morning.”

At this point we really shouldn’t be surprised anymore, right? On the other hand, it does provide for very consistent amusement.
