Kobe Bryant Criticizes Those Who Passed on Lin

Kobe Bryant and the Los Angeles Lakers were just one of the seven victims who fell to Jeremy Lin during his early NBA success. Lin scorched the Lakers with 38 points and walked off the court by winning over a myriad of critics.

‘Linsanity’ is still continuing and it seems as though Lin will be a part of the Knicks’ future and their quest for the NBA title. No one expected this from Lin and his emergence was something even the Knicks could not have predicted.

Lin set several records in his first seven starts and if the Golden State Warriors or Houston Rockets could have seen his success now, they surely would have kept the Harvard grad.

During All-Star weekend, Kobe Bryant talked about Jeremy Lin and what he would have done to the front-offices that passed up on Lin, Marc Berman of the New York Post writes.

“The biggest thing to me is how everybody missed it,’’ Bryant said yesterday before the All-Star Game’s practice session. “They all would be fired if I was owning a team. I hear this stuff, ‘It came out of nowhere.’ I think it’s a load of [garbage]. You can’t play that well and just come out of nowhere. There has to be something there and everybody missed it. So heads would roll [if I was owner].’’

Kobe Bryant admitted before the Lakers’ game against the Knicks that he had not been following Lin, but even the five-time champion eventually had to pay homage. Lin has been a great story and the entire world is hoping that he continues to help the Knicks win games.
