The well-rested Oklahoma City Thunder trounced the Los Angeles Lakers in Game 1 of the Western-Conference semifinals, 119-90. The Lakers started the game with an early five point lead before the Thunder overcame the lead and blew the game wide open with a barrage of jumpers.

The nail was put in the Lakers’ coffin when the Thunder outscored the Lakers by 15 points in the third quarter. Andrew Bynum was the Lakers’ leading scorer with 20 points. The Lakers have a chance to tie the series when the series resumes Wednesday night.
