Thunder strikes and kills the Lakers. OKC & the Spurs will compete in the Western Conference Finals. And what’s in store for the rest of the post-season. I’m Amy Halvorsen. All that and more coming up on LNTV.

Last night OKC clinched the series four to one. I asked you guys on twitter to send me your #DepressedLakersFan pics. And here’s what I got. So there was a lot of drinking last night….

The Thunder took Game Five 106-90. Westbrook scored twenty-eight points. Kevin Durant added twenty-five points and ten rebounds. But nobody wanted to win more than Kobe who scored forty-two points, his thirteenth forty-point game of his career. The Mamba put his German knees to work, netting five dunks. Seconds before halftime, Metta World Peace was called for a flagrant foul against Sefolosha, which even Shaq and Charles Barkley agreed was a terrible call.

Pau Gasol answered Kobe’s call to play more aggressively with fourteen points and sixteen rebounds. But aside from Pau the Lakers were abysmal with the rebounds. Bynum had ten points and only four rebounds. Things went south at the top of the fourth quarter when Mike Brown sat Kobe with the Lakers down six. In less time than it takes to say all of Ron Artest’s names, the gap became eleven. From there the Lakers lost control of the game and OKC went on to win. The Spurs host the Thunder in Game one on Sunday at 5 p.m. PT on TNT.

And to add insult to injury the Celtics beat the 76ers one-oh-one to eighty-five. Brandon Bass scored twenty-seven points, leaving the game to a standing ovation. Boston now leads the series three to two.

Top comment from last week goes to BBpandaVip who said that “if only Bynum would play like a beast from the jungle.” Well, if the beast you meant was a sloth, then you got your wish. This week let us know in the comments below what the Lakers have to do to win rings next year.

That’s it for us. Thank you for watching. It’s been so great meeting you guys over Facebook, Twitter, and YouTube. And even though our season is over, LakersNation TV will continue, so please subscribe. I’ll see you guys next time. Until then, stick with LakersNation Dot Com for all your latest Lakers news.
