When the Oklahoma City Thunder eliminated the San Antonio Spurs on Wednesday night a former member of the Lakers was crucial to their come-from-behind victory. Derek Fisher hit several key shots late in the game to help lead the Thunder back from 18 points down and earn a birth in the NBA Finals.
This was certainly nothing new for Fisher, who has made a career of hitting timely shots in post-season situations. One of Fisher’s former teammates, current Lakers forward Metta World Peace, was impressed with Fisher’s ability to come through in the clutch once again.
Fisher…..Nothing new… Totally not surprised…6 ring fisher!!!!!!!!Do it do it!!!!Wow!!!!!

World Peace was obviously impressed with Fisher’s shooting, and later tweeted he’s never surprised when he hits a big shot.

There’s no doubt Metta is one of the most quotable guys in the NBA, and it’s fun seeing him support his former teammate as Fisher and the Thunder try to win the NBA championship.
