NBA News (Correction): Lamar Odom Trade Not Yet Completed

With plenty of speculation that Lamar Odom would return to Los Angeles after the Lakers traded him to the Dallas Mavericks last season, it seems that he has finally returned to L.A. But not with the Lakers.

According to NBC 4 in Los Angeles, Odom has been traded to the L.A. Clippers.

A three-team deal between the Dallas Mavericks, Utah Jazz and Clippers would send Odom to the team he began his career with and Mo Williams to Utah, the wire service reported.

The trade still depends on Mo Williams picking up his player option for next season, another player the Lakers were reportedly interested in acquiring – ironically with the trade exception they received from trading Odom to Dallas.

UPDATE: According to Brad Turner of the L.A. Times the deal is not yet complete.

The Clippers are still discussing a trade for Lamar Odom, but as of Thursday night no deal has been reached, according to a team official who was not authorized to speak publicly on the matter.

This could be good news for the Lakers, who are reportedly interested in both Odom and Williams.
