NBA News: Deron Williams Re-Signing With Brookyln Nets

On Twitter today, Brookyln Nets point guard Deron Williams announced that he is going to re-sign with the Nets. Williams, who was traded to the Nets from the Utah Jazz in 2011, had reportedly been interested in exploring free agent options in Dallas and elsewhere.

This is following the news that the Nets acquired Joe Johnson from the Atlanta Hawks on Monday. Now the team will be looking towards center Dwight Howard, who has said multiple times he wants to play in Brooklyn.

The deal is reportedly for five years and is worth approximately $100 million for Williams.

Williams is 28.
