Poll Results: Pau Gasol Has Most to Prove in 2012-13

Yesterday we asked our followers which starter they felt had the most to prove in the upcoming season for the Lakers. With two new major additions to the starting lineup and three returning starters, the results were fairly mixed.

Still, there was one name that had more votes than the rest.

It seems that Pau Gasol is the starter fans are the most unsure about heading into the season. Despite being the second most productive player on the team over the last three years, Gasol seems to regularly fall out of favor with the fans. Out of the 2,549 total votes, 1,384 of them voted for Pau.

Finishing second was Dwight Howard, with 701 votes.

The most surprising was Metta World Peace, who had the second least amount of votes at 144. The only player receiving less votes than World Peace was newly acquired point guard Steve Nash. The longest tenured Laker, Kobe Bryant, received 215 votes.
