Kobe Bryant Misses Two Practices with Foot Soreness

The Los Angeles Lakers are preparing for a very exciting 2012-13 season and they have the mentality of “championship or bust.” In order to win a title, a team needs to have a talented and healthy roster with players who are willing to sacrifice for the betterment of the team.

The Lakers surely have the most talented team in the NBA, but health may be a problem down the road. Los Angeles first had to deal with the back problems of Dwight Howard, but it is the team’s superstar Kobe Bryant who has the latest setback.

Per NBA.com: Kobe Bryant sat out both of the Los Angeles Lakers’ practices on Friday with soreness in his right foot.

Bryant participated in the Lakers’ first four days of training camp, but was sidelined for both practices on Friday. Bryant could not make it to the morning session, and although the Lakers expected him to attend the afternoon session, Bryant sat out for further evaluation.

By the looks of it, the injury does not seem to serious and knowing Kobe Bryant, he will likely play right through the pain.

The NBA’s season is less than a month away and with the Lakers’ pre-season opener on Sunday, fans are gearing up for a thrilling 82-game campaign.
