Yeah. He went there. Kobe Bryant told all the Lakers haters and confused fans to chill. In fact, he told everyone to “shut up.” ESPN tweeted some of Bryant’s comments during today’s media session and the five-time champion responded to the concern some people have about the Lakers’ 0-2 start.
Despite his words today. Kobe himself is frustrated about the last two games. It’s been 10 games and this current Lakers team has not won a game together. But losing is something Kobe Bryant is not used to and he will do whatever it takes to get his team back on the right track.
“It’s going to be a little edgy because I’m not a very happy camper around here right now.”
Lakers fans feel you, Mamba. However, the season is not done and there are plenty of games to come.
Dwight Howard has been considered the league’s best center without much debate. The superstar center won the Defensive Player of the Year award three years in row. DimeMag.com compiled a list of the top 10 candidates for the DPOY this season with Howard sitting at the top. LeBron James of the Miami Heat comes in at No. 2.
Andrew Ungvari writes a great piece today about the trade of former OKC player James Harden. The Olympic Gold Medalist was trader to the Houston Rockets after an uncertain summer in Oklahoma City. The Thunder were considered the favorites by most to repeat as Western Conference champions, but Harden’s trade has changed prediction. Make sure to read the rest of Ungvari’s article where he details exactly how Harden in Houston will affect the Lakers this season.
