Update: Phil Jackson Meets With Lakers, No Offer Made

The Los Angeles Lakers have met with legendary coach Phil Jackson, but no official offer has been made. The Lakers fired coach Mike Brown on Friday, and it seems as though Jackson is the top choice for the job.

There have been other names thrown out there including Jerry Sloan and Mike D’Antoni, but there is no doubt Jackson is the best person for the job.

Mike Bresnahan of the Los Angeles Times tweeted that both parties have gathered, and the ultimate decision will be Jackson’s.

Jackson has coached talented teams in his career before, but this would no doubt be the most explosive and skillful he will ever coach. The Lakers want him back badly, and all signs point a possible reunion.
