According to team spokesman John Blake at Lakers practice today, the Lakers are facing some serious injury issues following their Sunday night loss to the Denver Nuggets.
Black spoke to reporters on Monday and informed everyone that Dwight Howard suffered a torn labrum in his shoulder and is out at least a week, but will still travel with the team.
Pau Gasol is out indefinitely with a concussion sustained vs. Denver, and will not travel with the team.
And, to top it all off, Jordan Hill is also out after suffering a hip injury on Sunday night.
The team canceled practice on Monday, and appears to be in a world of hurt, both literally and figuratively, as they prepare for the Houston Rockets on Tuesday.
All players will be reevaluated soon, but for now won’t be available for the Lakers.
